Loves first sigh is wisdom's last... As a metalsmith/jewelry maker, I lose all sense of reason when it comes to gems and gold, which seems to be the definition of love. I think there's nothing better than the rush of watching the solder flow...a new piece being created...and seeing someone wear a finished piece! 5 years after completing the ensemble, I wore my choker and Duomo Orb to Mass at the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. How meaningful it was to revisit the source of my inspiration!
